- Gim Il-bu’s Proclamation
- 1 Gim Il-bu, a contemporary of Chey Su-oon, was a great philosopher who lived at the end of the Joseon dynasty.
- 2 Il-bu declared the world of Jung-yuk would open with the coming of Sahng-jeh-nim.
- 3 He proclaimed the joyous news of the advent of Sahng-jeh-nim, who would correct all the wrongs in heaven and earth at the time of gae-byuk. He wrote:
- 4 Why has it taken so long for the Dragon Flower Paradise to come?
- 5 I have quietly observed the creative change of the universe. Who could have possibly known that, to accomplish its purpose, the whole universe has been waiting for Sahng-jeh-nim’s coming to the world as a human being?
- 6 Bright and clear are heaven and earth. The new life of the sun and moon shines through. In the brightness of the new life of the sun and moon, the world becomes a paradise. A new world! A new world! Sahng-jeh-nim Himself is coming in person, shining with the light of His sacred spirit.
