- This Is the Sacred Pearl
- 1 Ho-yun wanted to go into the room, but hesitated because someone had told her not to enter. Sahng-jeh-nim called out, “Come in.”
- 3 Showing her the red spot inside His lower lip, Sahng-jeh-nim said to her, “This is the sacred pearl. If you forget My face, think of the sacred pearl.
- 7 No matter what happens, keep your mind as steadfast as an evergreen tree and as straight as a bamboo tree.”
Not understanding what He meant, Ho-yun asked, “How can I be like that? I should become an evergreen tree?”
- 8 “It is not exactly like that,” He answered.
- 12 Caressing Ho-yun’s face, He said, “Ho-yun, I offered you to heaven and earth and asked blessings for you. Heaven and earth cannot desert you.
- 13 Generations of those who believe in Me will come and go. From the bud of an old tree, a sprout will emerge. From the bud of that tree, another sprout will appear. Likewise, My followers will come. Among them, there will be one to take care of you.”
- 14 Looking at Ho-yun affectionately, He said, “All people are born of their parents, but you are the one who conveys to them the pulse of dao.
- 15 Anyone who does not know the pulse will die. How could heaven and earth ignore you?
- 16 The person who will save your life will appear. The person of dao will appear suddenly and unexpectedly.
- 17 Stay well and do well.”
