- 9 On March 2, 1934, a female disciple named Gim Sung-nyuh went to a house in Mahn-gyung Village where Bahk Yun-soon, a four-year-old girl suffering from smallpox, was nearing death.
- 10 The disciple prayed to Sahng-jeh-nim and Tae-mo-nim and chanted the Shee-chun-ju Mantra with great sincerity. The child’s disease was cured.
