- Tae-mo-nim Ascends to Heaven
- 1 That evening, Tae-mo-nim had bathwater prepared for Herself. “Bring out the new clothes,” She said after Her bath, then changed into the clothes the disciples brought. Afterward, She lay down and summoned Go Min-hwahn to sit beside Her.
- 2 After about two hours, She said to him, “When all of you transform your minds, you will come to see the immortal world. Though the immortal world is in front of your eyes . . . .” Then, She said, “Manage well.” Min-hwahn asked what She meant by that, and She replied, “Well, oh well.”
- 3 She then said, “When Jeung-san Sahng-jeh-nim returns, I will return with Him. When I return, He will return with Me.”
- 4 A while later, She said to Min-hwahn, “Put your hand on My head.” She then waved Her hand toward Sahng-jeh-nim’s portrait and said, “Put one more new mattress beside Me.” She repeated three times, “Your Father will be here any moment now.” She then closed Her eyes and passed away. It was the Hour of the Ox, October 6.
- 5 At dawn, when Go Min-hwahn, Jun Sun-pil, Bahk Johng-oh, and Ee Gil-su looked for the burial clothes,
- 6 they found that Tae-mo-nim had taken them out and put them on a hanger.
