• No Favoritism in Sahng-jeh-nim’s Work
  • Sahng-jeh-nim always had His father, the Sacred Father, do everything himself and would say to him, “Please, recall each of your wrongdoings and try to resolve them.” Also, He forbade His disciples to offer His father money or gifts.
  • Feeling sorry about the size and shabbiness of Sahng-jeh-nim’s parents’ house, a disciple bought them a larger one.
  • Upon learning of this, Sahng-jeh-nim censured him sternly, “Do you intend to make My father a thief?
  • Anyone who does not understand Me might call Me an undutiful son. In fact, I am trying to guide My father to good fortune.
  • I always consider whether something is appropriate for him. Otherwise, the path I set for him will be in vain. If you feel sorry for My father and wish to help him, ask Me first. I will see if I can change what I have planned for him.”
  • One day, while visiting His parents, He said to His father, “In My work, there can be no favoritism. Please, do not commit any transgression.”
