- 1 After hearing that Gim Nahk-bum’s son was on the brink of dying from tuberculosis,
- 2 Sahng-jeh-nim went with a disciple to the house. Sahng-jeh-nim had the boy carried into the guest room and had him lie face down. He pressed His foot into the boy’s lower back, asking, “Where does it hurt?”
- 3 Sahng-jeh-nim then helped the boy get up and walk back to his room. “Feed him boiled chicken,” Sahng-jeh-nim said to the family and told them that for the rest of the day the boy should not lie down. It was not long before he completely recovered.
