• Sahng-jeh-nim’s Response to Visitors
  • When someone was coming to see Sahng-jeh-nim, He knew of it in advance; and if He was busy with the work of renewal, He would hide. Seldom would such visitors get to see Him.
  • He always knew who was coming, how much money was in their pockets, and what they were thinking.
  • One day, as a visitor left, Sahng-jeh-nim said, “That fellow is right-minded. Though it meant he would go hungry on his journey home, he offered all the money he had, without thinking of himself.” Sahng-jeh-nim sent someone after the man to give him money. The man received more money than he had given.
  • Sahng-jeh-nim gave travel money to whoever had none. Those who would touch the money in their pockets, deciding whether to offer it or not, lost even their travel money along the way.
