• Ho-yun, the Witness to Sahng-jeh-nim’s Nine-Year Work
  • One day in 1901, Sahng-jeh-nim went to Chey Sahng-moon’s house in Jeonju County and there met with Sahng-moon’s closest friend, Gim Taeng-nyohng.
  • Taeng-nyohng was holding his five-year-old daughter in his arms. Sahng-jeh-nim said to him,
  • “I am going to disassemble and reconstruct heaven and earth and open the world of immortality; please allow your daughter to participate in this great work.”
  • Taeng-nyohng gladly consented. The little girl, named Jung-sook, was bright and had distinctive features.
  • From the time she was four years old, Sahng-jeh-nim had often let her sit on His knee and enjoyed her childish charm.
  • He called her Ho-yun and presented her as an offering for the work of renewing heaven and earth, thereby making her a witness to His words.
