- A Divine Person
- 4 During the time Sahng-jeh-nim lived in Gu-rit-gohl Village, He occasionally visited His home in Gaeng-mahng Village.
- 5 In the rainy season, the wide fields between His hometown and Jung-eup County became like a sea. Much of the winding country road was submerged.
- 6 Rather than keeping to the road, He would walk on the water in a straight line, never getting His shoes wet. People from the surrounding villages would turn out to watch and say, “There goes a divine person!”
- 7 Years later, a wide road was constructed exactly along the path Sahng-jeh-nim had taken on the water. People said His path was a survey for the road.
