- Cha Gyung-suk’s Ambition to Become an Emperor
- 1 One day, Sahng-jeh-nim said to His disciples, “I am going to open a destiny for you. Each of you, tell Me your will.”
- 2 Gyung-suk said, “I want You to give me the number fifteen.”
- 3 Sahng-jeh-nim’s face became stern. “You are a thief.”
- 4 “Fifteen is said to be the number of the True Master,” another disciple commented. “Gyung-suk does not know his place.”
- The Fate of Those Who Plot to Become Emperors
- 5 In Dae-heung Village, in the summer of 1908, Sahng-jeh-nim said to the disciples, “For twenty-one days, sleep only one hour at dawn.”
- 6 At the end of the twenty-one days, everyone was exhausted. Cha Gyung-suk, who looked the most tired, fell to the ground in the front yard.
- 7 Seeing this, Sahng-jeh-nim said, “All those who plot to become emperors will die.”
