• Upheaval at the Time of Gae-byuk
  • One day, Sahng-jeh-nim said to little Ho-yun, “When gae-byuk takes place, mountains will be turned upside down and the ground will split open. It will be a truly horrifying scene.
  • People will be buried underneath the rubble of overturned mountains and fall into the gaping holes of the splitting ground. The world will be in disarray, and there will be no safe place to go. When you return to the place where a house was standing just the day before, you will find a mountain.
  • Be alert as you proceed. Do not look far ahead. Look right in front of you.
  • When the ground splits and overturns and clouds whirl around, listen carefully to hear the jade flute being played in heaven.”
  • Even Children Will Need Blessings to Survive
  • Sahng-jeh-nim also said, “Those whose five organs are not balanced will die as they twist like millet stalks, and those who tell lies will die as their gallbladders rupture.
  • Even if you have never transgressed, act as though you have and do not let your guard down for even a moment.
  • Not all children will live. Even your children will need blessings to survive.
  • There will come a time when it will be difficult to see a single person in ten lee.”
  • Refuge Under the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth
  • One day, Sahng-jeh-nim said, “When time runs out and the current of events takes a sharp turn, thunder and lightning will show their fury, making it difficult not to be struck senseless.
  • 10 East, west, south, and north will suddenly change directions, and the world will fall into darkness for several days.
  • 11 At that time, fire energy will be withdrawn. Matches will not light when they are struck; cars and trains will not move.”
  • 12 He also said, “When the time arrives in accordance with heaven and earth’s principle, nothing can stop gae-byuk’s onrushing destiny.
  • 13 When heaven and earth shake, in whom will you have faith to preserve you?
  • 14 The sound of screaming and wailing will echo throughout heaven and earth.
  • 15 Those who do not shelter under the great dao of heaven and earth will rarely receive the destiny of survival.”
