- A Drought Is Ended
- 1 In June 1908, Gim Yoon-geun came to see Sahng-jeh-nim and said,
- 2 “The current drought is causing the crops to dry up. Please bring the sorely needed rain, so that people’s anxiety can be put at ease.”
- 3 Sahng-jeh-nim said to Gim Duk-chahn, “Boil one of your pigs and bring it here.”
- 4 Duk-chahn did, and before Sahng-jeh-nim and the disciples had finished eating the pork, thunder roared and heavy rain started to fall.
- 5 Yoon-geun said joyfully, “He is truly the Lord of Heaven, who saves all people.”
