- Often Going Without Food
- 1 After starting the work of renewal in 1901, Sahng-jeh-nim suffered much and often went without food.
- 2 When traveling with Ho-yun in spring, He picked cogon grass and peeled it for her. In summer and autumn, He often picked fruit and nuts along the way, but Ho-yun would not eat them;
- 3 so, sometimes when they did get cooked meals, Sahng-jeh-nim washed His hands and made rice balls that He kept and later gave Ho-yun as they traveled.
