• Written Records of Sahng-jeh-nim’s Work
  • When Sahng-jeh-nim conducted works of renewal, He would often write things or draw talismans and then burn the paper.
  • The disciples could not understand the meaning of the talismans, and if they tried to record the writings, He stopped them and said,
  • “Keep what you have heard firmly in your minds and later tell people about all of this from your memory. Written records will appear in the future.”
  • Therefore, there are few written records, and the few passages that have survived were recorded from the disciples’ accounts.
