- The Tae-eul Mantra, the Mark of Wealth
- 1 One day, Sahng-jeh-nim wrote out the verses of the Tae-eul Mantra:
- Hoom-chee Hoom-chee Tae-eul-chun Sahng-wun-goon
Hoom-nee-chee-ya-doh-rae Hoom-nee-hahm-nee-sa-pa-ha
- 2 Having written the mantra, He asked His disciples, “What does the shape remind you of?”
“It reminds me of a spoon,” Gim Gahp-chil replied.
- 3 “I will mix the East and West like a bowl of rice and seasoned vegetables,” Sahng-jeh-nim then declared. “You will eat from it with this spoon.
- 4 The Tae-eul Mantra is the spoon of the Later Heaven.
- 5 The Tae-eul Mantra is chanted by those who receive the destiny of fifty thousand years.
- 6 Having the shape of a spoon, it is the mark of wealth. When this mark is posted on your houses, the spirits of the mysterious disease will recognize them as houses of dao and will refrain from entering.”
