- Eat Good Meals with Meat
- 1 In November of 1907, before leaving Jung-eup County, Sahng-jeh-nim said to Nae-sung, “Until I return, abandon all matters and stay at home without eating.”
- 2 Seven days later, on His return from Gu-rit-gohl Village, Sahng-jeh-nim went with Gohng-ooh to Gyung-suk’s house in Dae-heung Village, and there he found Nae-sung inside one of the rooms. Nae-sung had crawled there and was now lying on his stomach, exhausted and weeping.
- 3 Sahng-jeh-nim asked, “What is wrong?”
“I have not eaten for several days,” Nae-sung replied. “I am starving.” Sahng-jeh-nim fed him one ripe persimmon, and Nae-sung quickly regained his strength.
- 4 With tears in His eyes, Sahng-jeh-nim said, “You must eat good meals with meat.”
