- 4 Leading a great army and defeating the enemy may seem glorious and exciting, but it destroys human life and causes vengeful energy.
- 5 If you are struck, gently stroke the assailant’s hand to comfort that person.
- 6 “When someone has the courage to speak, even though some of the words may not be correct, do not refute that person as long as your work is not hindered; this would breed vengeful energy.
- 7 If the food your neighbor gives you tastes bad and makes you sick, do not show that you dislike it; affection turned away creates vengeful energy.”
