- A Work of Renewal for Recording Offerings
- 1 A follower from Na-ju County brought an iron chest for money offerings.
- 2 Whenever a disciple made a money offering, the bookkeeper wrote the name on a piece of paper, pasted it to the money, and then put it into the iron chest.
- 3 When a chee-sung approached, the bookkeeper would open the chest and take out the money. He would then show the money and the records to Sahng-jeh-nim, showing the amount each disciple had offered.
- 4 Sahng-jeh-nim would nod His head and say, “Take it away.” Then, the disciples used it.
