- 1 Ee Doh-sahm’s daughter died from an illness.
- 2 Weeping, the mother said, “If the Teacher were here, He could revive her, but I do not know where He is. What should I do?”
- 3 At the end of the day, Sahng-jeh-nim came to her. “Do not weep. The child is not dead. I cannot revive her if you weep.” He then said to Doh-sahm, “Look at the moon and tell us what you see.”
- 4 Doh-sahm looked up and said, “There is a young child in the middle of the moon.”
- 5 “Your daughter is alive,” Sahng-jeh-nim said. “From now on, call her Wul-lyeh.” With this, the daughter came back to life.
