- 1 In 1928, after the Winter Solstice Chee-sung, Tae-mo-nim gathered 120 followers in the yard for a work of renewal.
- 2 She had a group of five people stand at each of the twenty-four directions and had a high platform positioned in the center.
- 3 Sitting on the platform, Tae-mo-nim said, “The purpose of this work is to review and renew the destiny of Immortalism, Buddhism, and Confucianism uniting into one in the Later Heaven.”
- 4 She ordered Go Min-hwahn to read Hyun-mu-gyung aloud from beginning to end. She waved Her pipe left and right.
- 5 With this, auspicious qi that glowed like the setting sun circled around the house and yard.
- 6 Tae-mo-nim sang, “Creative change is in Immortalism, form and substance are in Buddhism, and decorum is in Confucianism.” After singing this, She descended from the platform, and the auspicious glow dissipated.

- 7 One day, Tae-mo-nim said, “This is the study of regulating your primary organs. You should know how to renew your body.
- 8 In the Later Heaven, the work of heaven and earth is the great dao mastery of knowing the mind.
- 9 It is up to you. If you understand this, do it well.”
