- Bringing Balance to the World
- 1 One day, Tae-mo-nim performed a work of renewal with dozens of disciples present.
- 2 She used a straw rope to tie several tobacco pipes in a bundle, which She then hung in the entrance. She hung a woman’s jacket and a skirt on one side of the pipes, tilting the bundle.
- 3 Striking the jacket and the skirt with Her hand, She said, “When will there be a balance?” After a few days, the bundle was balanced.
- 4 Seeing this, She said, “Now it is done.”
- 5 She continued, “This is the work of renewal for bringing balance to the world.”
- The Destiny of Disease
- 6 While doing a work of renewal, Tae-mo-nim said to the disciples,
- 7 “Three-eight wood entered. How did there come to be a three-eight line? The whole world is moving and changing.
- 8 Look at the destiny. Look at the destiny. The destiny is the narrow passage of the disease.”
- When Gae-byuk Comes
- 9 In the presence of many disciples, Tae-mo-nim said, “In the future, there will be a gae-byuk of heaven and earth.
- 10 When the ultimate contest is about to be determined, the three-eight line will crumble. Not many will survive.”
- 11 She also said, “You will see a world where sea will become land and land will become sea.
- 12 When the seeds of humanity are culled, disease will strike down everyone in its path. It will be difficult to see even a single person in ten lee.”
- 13 She continued, “When gae-byuk comes, in Goon-sahn, three worn-out brooms are left standing; in Incheon, corpses rot; and in Busan, three pieces of paper float.
- 14 In Seoul, there are three buckets of blood; and in Jeonju, there are three buckets of bean sprouts.”
- Constantly roll the Tae-eul Mantra in your mouth
- 15 Tae-mo-nim told Her disciples, “When the seeds of humanity are harvested, how can you hope to survive if you have not resolutely cultivated your mind?
- 16 Chant the Tae-eul Mantra frequently. Night or day, while eating or working, you must roll the mantra in your mouth.”
- The Tae-eul Mantra Saves People from Diseases
- 17 On another occasion, Tae-mo-nim declared, “In the future, the world will be turned upside down by disease.
- 18 Unknown diseases of all kinds will emerge. Erysipelas and smallpox will strike before the catastrophic disease.
- 19 When smallpox circulates, people will survive by chanting the Tae-eul Mantra.”
- 20 She also said, “When all kinds of disease strike, the world will turn to Korea.”
