• Change Your Mindset
  • Chey Sung-yuh from Dahng-book Village, who worked in the dao center’s kitchen, had an eye disease and was about to lose her sight.
  • Knowing this, Tae-mo-nim said, “Your heart is impaired. Change your mindset.
  • You will lose your eyesight if the condition is left as it is. It should be healed.” Tae-mo-nim made her sit facing east, then Tae-mo-nim took a mouthful of fresh water and sprayed it into Sung-yuh’s eyes.
  • Tae-mo-nim told her to pray earnestly and brew four-herb medicine in fresh water from her meditation bowl. Within a few days, the disease was cured.
  • Tae-mo-nim Relieves People of Their Transgressions
  • Tae-mo-nim said to the disciples, “There is no one among humankind who has not erred. A grave transgression is not forgiven by heaven and earth, and before long, the person is punished. Small and trivial transgressions are carried down to later generations and affect the descendants.
  • Therefore, I will take on the burden of every person’s transgressions and get rid of them.” She had a bowl of fresh water placed on a ba-dook board and had the disciples chant the Jin-aek Mantra.
  • A while later, Tae-mo-nim fainted and was barely breathing. After half a day had passed, She regained consciousness and said, “How complex the matters of the world are.”
