- The Role of the West Spirit, the Role of the Su-bu
- 1 On June 24, 1933, after the chee-sung commemorating Sahng-jeh-nim’s ascension, Tae-mo-nim had dozens of disciples sit and chant the Jin-aek Mantra for an hour.
- 2 After that, She said to Johng-oh, “Bring a sheet of paper and a writing brush.” She had him write:
- 舊天地 相剋 大寃大恨
- Old heaven and earth:
mutual conflict, great bitterness and great grief.
- 新天地 相生 大慈大悲
- New heaven and earth:
mutual life-giving, great compassion and great mercy.
- 3 She then walked around the room fifteen times counterclockwise with everyone following Her. Together they repeatedly said, “Old heaven and earth: mutual conflict, great bitterness and great grief.”
- 4 They then went around clockwise fifteen times, saying, “New heaven and earth: mutual life-giving, great compassion and great mercy.”
- 5 She then had them repeat sixteen times, “The role of the West Spirit, the role of the Su-bu.”
- 6 Then, She spoke about the role of the Su-bu.
- 7 “Sahng-jeh-nim undertook the work of renewal to open a new heaven and earth and to establish peace in the world. He said, ‘Through the Program of the Su-bu, I transferred dao lineage and authority to My Su-bu, your Mother, to save humanity.’”
