- 2 They each contributed as much as they could to the project, collecting a total of seven hundred won. Construction commenced on November 11 and finished the following year, 1919, on the eighteenth of July, which was a leap month.
- 3 Tae-mo-nim moved to the new center and lived there quietly with a few disciples. She spent most of Her time tending to Her farm, which consisted of twenty-four rice paddies She had leased. Once a month, She would hold a chee-sung.
- 4 In August of that year, when a deadly epidemic spread rapidly throughout Ohk-gu County, many believers seeking refuge and support came to Her.
