- The Reason for Coming to the World
- 1 Sahng-jeh-nim stated, “The whole world is suffering from a monstrous disease.
- 2 I am using My authority over the three realms and the power of creative change to open a new heaven and a new earth. I will build a world of immortality in which all will live long without aging.
- 3 I am Ohk-hwahng Sahng-jeh.”
- 4 On another occasion, He said, “The destiny of the Early Heaven has been mutual conflict.
- 5 Because mutual conflict has governed humans and all things, and there has not been a single moment in history without war,
- 6 heaven and earth are filled with bitterness and grief.
- 7 The destiny of mutual conflict is coming to an end. The human world faces huge calamities and is on the brink of destruction.
- 8 The spirits desired to save humanity out of worry and compassion, but they did not know how.
- 9 Finally, they came to the ninth heaven and pleaded with Me. Not having the heart to refuse, I came to this world.
- 10 I will replace huge calamities with small misfortunes and open a world of immortality and creative change.”
