- Facing the World of Gae-byuk
- 1 After they spoke of what had happened since they last met, Sahng-jeh-nim said,
- 2 “Now, at the end of the Early Heaven, we face the world of gae-byuk. Soon, the destiny of Mu-geuk will open.
- 3 In all matters, be careful not to create vengeful energy within others, and never transgress. Meditate with a pure mind and take part in building a new heaven and earth.
- 4 I will redirect heaven and earth’s destiny through My power of creative change and open a world of immortality in which everyone lives long without aging. I will save humanity, which is drowning in a sea of agony.”
- 5 He continued, “I first came down to the canopy tower in the nation of great law in the West and from there traveled the world.
- 6 I then came to this Eastern land and stayed at the Maitreya statue of Geum-sahn Temple for thirty years.
- 7 Later, I was born into the Gahng family in Gaeng-mahng Village in Go-bu County, and now I am visiting My host.
- 8 Without substance (體), there can be no function (用). The west is associated with metal. That is why I have chosen the Gim family’s house as My residence.”
- 9 From then on, Sahng-jeh-nim stayed at Hyung-yul’s house.
- 10 When Sahng-jeh-nim conducted works of renewing heaven and earth, He opened Hyung-yul’s spiritual eye, allowing Hyung-yul to see the spirits gathering, dispersing, and carrying out Sahng-jeh-nim’s commands.
