- Sahng-jeh-nim Transforms Ho-yun
- 1 When Ho-yun was a young child, Sahng-jeh-nim would carry her in His arms, and they would begin to fly. Until told to look down, she was unaware they had left the ground.
- 2 From above, she could see mountains and fields and people walking around looking like ants.
- 3 Sahng-jeh-nim sometimes transformed Ho-yun into a spider, a grasshopper, or a cicada and would walk about with her on His neck or shoulder.
- 4 Once, as she hung from Sahng-jeh-nim’s clothes in the form of a cicada, some children yelled, “There’s a cicada on You.” Then, they captured her.
- 5 “Give it back to Me,” Sahng-jeh-nim said. “That cicada is not for you.” He tucked her inside His jacket.
- 6 Another time, while engaged in a work of renewal, He turned her into a yellow worm and covered the eyes of everyone else present with a film so that they could not see her.
