- 1 “Offended women have traditionally cursed, ‘May you be killed suddenly and brutally.’ This refers to the deadly disease that is sudden and brutal.
- 2 You will save the sick among the dead, day and night, without sleep, wearing out three pairs of shoes as you step over corpses.
- 3 Who would not believe when told to have faith in Me in such a time of urgency?
- 4 Whenever you go to a marketplace or to a gathering, think to yourselves that those people will live and prosper if they believe in Me. This thought becomes a virtue within you, even though the people are unaware.
- 5 If you clearly understand the characters jeung (甑), meaning ‘steamer,’ and san (山), meaning ‘mountain,’ you will survive.”
