- 3 Carefully record this teaching, word for word, and let it be known throughout the world.”
- 4 For humans heaven and earth open.
- 5 For humans sun and moon rise and give light.
- 6 For humans yin and yang come into being and are manifested.
- 7 For humans the order of the four seasons is established.
- 8 For humans all living things come forth.
- 9 Sages are born to guide and teach people.
- 10 Without humans there can be no fruition in heaven and earth.
- 11 That is why heaven and earth
give birth to humans and all things in balance.
