- The Grief of Being Childless
- 5 Moon Myung-su of Sool-sahn Village was still childless at the age of forty. One day, when he and his wife came to visit Tae-mo-nim, She asked them, “Does it bring you grief to be childless?”
- 6 She then gave Myung-su’s wife a cup of wine and a piece of canned meat and said, “A woman who has never been pregnant now eats. Return home and bear many children.”
- 7 In the following years, Myung-su’s wife gave birth to three sons.
- 8 Tae-mo-nim loved all people and often blessed them with children,
- 9 but if disciples asked Her about Her own child, She said, “What is there to say when all under heaven are My children?”
