• Tae-mo-nim Agrees to Move the Center
  • On July 29, the leader of Dohng-hwa-gyo, Ee Sahng-ho, and one of its senior members, Jo Hahk-gu, came with Chahn-hohng to see Tae-mo-nim.
  • Sahng-ho said, “According to what we have heard, Sahng-jeh-nim spoke to You of the ‘three households,’ and said to several disciples, ‘Yohng-hwa Village is My place.’
  • On the Winter Solstice of 1928, my fellow followers and I founded the Dohng-hwa-gyo center in Yohng-hwa Village.
  • The following year, on March 16, we completed the book Dae-soon-jun-gyung to establish a foundation of true dharma, and then we waited for the right time to come.
  • Now that the sixtieth anniversary of Sahng-jeh-nim’s birth has come, we believe it is time for You, our Teacher and Mother, to establish Your Third Household.
  • We request that You move the center to Yohng-hwa Village.”
  • Tae-mo-nim consented. “Let us bring Sahng-jeh-nim’s portrait to Yohng-hwa Village and hold the chee-sung for His birthday there.
  • I will permanently move the center to Yohng-hwa Village when the time is right.”
