- Treating the Sick
- 1 Whenever sick people came, Sahng-jeh-nim was aware of it before they reached the gate. Usually, He did not directly treat them.
- 2 During the treatment, He would ask the sick person’s name and sometimes recite a mantra.
- 3 When sick people came, if Sahng-jeh-nim gently flicked His index finger, it indicated the person would be cured immediately. But if He pressed the nail on His index finger with His thumb, it meant that it would take a long time for the person to heal.
- 8 No matter how serious the illness, the sick were certain to be healed if Sahng-jeh-nim visited. They would earnestly ask, “Please visit my house just once!”
