- 1 Sahng-jeh-nim said, “I am going to Hwey-moon Mountain to establish a new framework for heaven and earth.
- 2 Using the qi and spirit of an auspicious site on that mountain called Five Immortals Playing Ba-dook (五仙圍碁), I will change the direction of world affairs.
- 3 Two immortals are in a match, two are giving advice, and one is the host.
- 4 Unable to take sides, the host simply watches the match and entertains the guests.
- 5 As long as the host does not lack hospitality, the host fulfills his duty.
- 6 When the match ends and everyone leaves, the game board and ba-dook stones are returned to the host.
- 7 Long ago, Gaozu of the Han dynasty is said to have gained the world on horseback, but we will gain the world sitting down.”
