- 1 In Chun-wun Village, Jung-eup County, a man gave Sahng-jeh-nim some melons, but Sahng-jeh-nim did not eat them.
- 2 Eventually, Gohng-ooh ate one, and it gave him severe diarrhea.
- 3 It seemed he would not get better, so he went to Sahng-jeh-nim, who said, “The man’s wife did not want to give away the melons, so lethal qi was attached to them. You were struck by that lethal qi.”
- 4 Sahng-jeh-nim then told him to drink some chicken broth. When Gohng-ooh did this, he recovered immediately.
