- Sahng-jeh-nim Declares His Work of Renewal Complete
- 1 On the morning of June 20, Sahng-jeh-nim declared to the disciples that He had completed His work of renewing heaven and earth.
- 2 Gim Gyung-hahk said, “If You have completed Your work, then please reveal Yourself to the world.”
- 3 “Two people are not here yet,” Sahng-jeh-nim replied, “so I cannot go forth.”
- 4 Impatient, Gyung-hahk insisted, “Though I have little ability, I will work in their place until my body wears out.”
- 5 “That will not be possible.”
- 6 Hurt by this, Gyung-hahk complained, “If so, we are all of no use. What purpose is there in our following You?”
- 7 He then said to the other disciples, “We are people with no blessings. We should all leave together.” He started to walk out.
- 8 “Wait a while,” Sahng-jeh-nim said, dissuading him.
