- 1 Tae-mo-nim had the disciples put a table in the yard and prepare an offering on it as if for a regular chee-sung.
- 2 She had them lay out eggs and rice wine as well as a bowl of steamed rice mixed with eggs.
- 3 She then announced, “This work of renewal is to praise the technological advances leading to immortality that Matteo Ricci brought. It is also to praise his participation in building the world of immortality in the Later Heaven.”
- 4 She then instructed the disciples to chant the Shee-chun-ju Mantra.
